Citiprint began in 1980 operating out of an old mill in Derby. Even then, we were investing in the leading edge print technology of the day. Since those humble beginnings, we have gone through many changes designed to ensure we remain at the forefront of the print industry.

Today we operate out of a purpose-built factory, serving customers ranging from small local businesses to large, multinational organisations. With 30 years of experience we have the knowledge to know what works best for each individual, and we are here to provide solutions to your print problems.

Due to the unique way we work with our clients we can find what your company needs to promote and shine. Our dedicated staff and our highly skilled workforce are here to work for you and will help with every detail. This attention to detail is what we believe has kept us at the top of our industry and we want to pass on our passion for print to you and your company.

From business cards to large reports we are able to print up to any size with any quantities. Our large factory houses all our repro, finishing and printing as well as accounts and management which allows us to keep our costs down and pass on these savings to you, our customer. As a valuable customer we also offer you an on-line account which means you can check out your job whenever, wherever for peace of mind.

We value you custom and therefore are pleased to offer you a full service. From your first contact call we will help guide you through the print process.

If you're a first time new business why not check out our business package which comprises of Business Cards, Letterheads, Compliment Slips and company brochure. Your designated account manager will be able to guide you through the various papers, finishes and costs of all these items. They can also discuss artwork and design packages which you might require.

You may, however already know exactly what you want and know what stock, gram, finish and deadline you need to achieve. Again in this case we can work fast and effectively to meet your deadline.

At Citiprint we offer a wide range of print services from design trough to finishing and mail sorting. We offer different types of printing on different types of paper and board. Please visit our other pages to view these services in detail.

We are proud to offer the full print service all under one roof. In our East Midlands premises we have our studio, CTP, presses, finishing and despatching departments. Having all this under one roof allows us to give you fast and professional service.

Repro

Our dedicated team of designers is ready to work closely with you on your next project, turning your brief into a visually stimulating piece of marketing. If you have an idea in mind or an existing piece of artwork we can work with you to create what you want.

We have an in-house repro department, ensuring total control of your job from design through to final plate making.
Plates are produced using a Computer-to-Plate system (CTP) which, together with ApogeeX workflow, ensures complete data integrity. This enables us to maintain quality whilst keeping costs to a minimum. Our work is mainly Mac based but we can handle most PC formats. We can accept files via the Internet, CD, floppy disc or DVD.

Digital Printing

Digital print is the newest technology in the print scene. For over 3 years we have had our Xerox Digital Press installed and printing. We have seen this area grow from strength to strength and purchased the latest Digital Press. The main difference in Digital printing is that it allows each page to be personalised with external data. In short each page can have the same image on but different text. This is especially useful for direct marketing campaigns and direct mailers. It also allows specific data to be imputed onto the page wherever you want. As well as this digital print runs can be as little as 10 copies allowing for small print jobs or large jobs with various text changes; for instance 250 Business Cards for 8 people, all the same apart from a name change.

After discussions with you Account Handler he/she will guide you as whether Digital print is appropriate to you.

Litho

With 30 years of Litho printing behind us we know everything there is to know about it.
Litho printing accounts for 80% of our work and we provide a top quality service in this area. Our highly skilled printers have over 50 years experience in Litho printing so know exactly what is required to achieve the high standards we set.

We can supply anything from single colour to four-colour process, plus special colours if required. Our highly-experienced print team will constantly check your job to ensure the final product is exactly as you require. We constantly strive to keep our highly regarded reputation to the level it is and this attention to detail proves this.

For the larger print quantities we use top-of-the-range Heidelberg printing presses which are regarded as the best money can buy. We can provide the option for spot colours and sealing with conventional CMYK. If you have a 5 colour Corporate Brochure with a print run of 25,000 this is no problem for us.

Our modern machinery is equipped with programmable control systems. This is very handy with regard to repeat orders, as all print settings and functions are recorded on memory and can be recalled to ensure the same level of quality as previously produced.

Finishing

Finishing touches can really make or break your print project. We will listen and advise so your printing really stands out.

Finishing isn't only about an application added to the finished print product. There are many techniques which can be added during the print process and after.
